WASHINGTON - The government has buried its nose in Bari Lynne Williams's personal business.
Almost literally.
Twenty-four hours a day, whether she's jogging, sleeping or managing a pool hall, Williams wears a high-tech sensor on her ankle that can detect the faintest whiff of alcohol in her perspiration.

So, being an early adopter has its benefits and its drawbacks. Here are my early thoughts on the Dash Express.
The Bad:
- Holy schmoley this thing is huge and heavy.

I saw this ad tonight and thought you ladies may be interested in knowing about the Target deal early. I also cut this article down because it was REALLY long.
Retailer's 'doorbuster discounts' reportedly include a 32-inch LCD HDTV for $246 and a $10 free gift card when you spend $100 or more.

It was a rainy Friday late afternoon that we had to drive to Maryland from New York. Ordinarily, Friday afternoons are just typically rush-hour madness, but this time, the whole northeast side of the USA was drenched . Rain just kept pouring so heavily causing snarls along the highways and parkways, along with the dreaded automobile breakdowns.

SACRAMENTO — A blistering new report concludes that state corrections officials failed repeatedly to properly supervise accused rapist and kidnapper Phillip Garrido for 10 years, missing numerous opportunities to discover that he had allegedly kept Jaycee Lee Dugard captive in his Antioch-area backyard during the entire time California authorities were supposed to be keeping watch over him.
Among the mistakes by state parole agents who supervised Garrido from 1999 until his latest arrest in August was a failure to investigate why there was a 12-year-old girl inside the home of a registered sex offender, why "clearly visible utility lines" were running from Garrido's home to a concealed compound where he allegedly kept Dugard and why agents took no action when they received information "clearly showing Garrido had violated his parole terms.
A four-page executive summary of the audit by California Inspector General David R.

I need your help! I'm in the market for a heart rate monitor. Specifically, I want one that has mileage, heart rate (obviously), time and calories. I don't really need GPS functionality. Cost is a factor, of course.
What do you use or can recommend? Polar, Nike, Garmin, et.al?

My family has been thinking of him a remote car starter and a nice desk chair for work...but those seem uninspired to me.
My dad is super hard to shop for:
He has more clothes than anyone I know.
Same with tools.
He likes sports, but not enough to have any gear
He rarely does anything for himself - he spends his weekends working in the yard or around the house.
He deserves a great birthday present - In the past, I've bought him shirts, ties, pajamas, fragrance sets, a GPS...they've never felt like enough. I thought about getting him a nice LED flat screen TV, but that's out of my price range.
Any ideas would be extremely helpful! Thank you!
