This is the groom's cake that accompanied the wedding cake that I created for the March 8th, 2008 wedding.
The groom was graduating from the University of Georgia at the end of May, 2008.
The cake was a devil's food cake with caramel and coconut filling.

This was the groom's cake that went along with the "golden beauty" wedding cake for a wedding on Saturday, May 3rd, 2008. The bride and I discussed the groom's interests in an attempt to come up with something really cute and creative for the groom's cake, and this final product incorporated the groom's love of cupcakes into their wedding celebration.
The base of the cupcake was a three layer 10-inch round chocolate cake with milk chocolate filling and white chocolate buttercream icing.

The Catholic Archdiocese of Washington said Wednesday that it will be unable to continue the social service programs it runs for the District if the city doesn't change a proposed same-sex marriage law, a threat that could affect tens of thousands of people the church helps with adoption, homelessness and health care.
Under the bill, headed for a D.C. Council vote next month, religious organizations would not be required to perform or make space available for same-sex weddings.

A Three tiered floral fantasy; The top and bottom tier were vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream filling and icing, and the middle tier was red velvet cake with cream cheese buttercream filling and icing.
Calla lilies, daisies, and assorted wildflowers decorated the sides of the tiers, while creeping ivy wound it's way up the sides of the cake.
My mother helped me set up this cake and I don't know where she might have been that day, but her head was not in the game!

When Yanna Elfes was planning her ultimate big fat Greek wedding in Sydney, she never imagined it would be virtually attended by millions of people around the world or become the subject of a vicious email slur campaign and a police investigation.
But that's exactly what happened after she married her husband Kosta two months ago at the Greek Orthodox church in Kogarah.
Her friends published photos on their Facebook pages and within days the images were appearing in nasty viral emails that quickly spread across Australia and to workplaces as far flung as London and Dubai.
