Hey girls,
I've recently coloured my hair again (various shades of blonde and black...sexee punkee? haha) and I was wondering if you ladies (and/or gents) could recommend a shampoo and conditioner that doesn't have a fading effect on colour? I'm a lost cause here and the shampoo I've been using is already starting to fade my black...ugh...Help!

The shampoos contain a similar combo of nettle, wheat proteins and panthenol. Nettle removes product buildup to keep your hair from going flat. Protein fattens hair strands from the inside out to add volume.

Powder in the thrifty brand absorbs excess oil, as do rice and oat starch in the costlier spray.
And the Winner Is …
Both products will clean and add volume to a heavy, oily mop, but what about the less-than-fresh scent of dirty hair? The pricier "shampoo" has a crisp, lemon-y scent to mask any odor.

I'm not sure if you have heard about Samy Pure hair care products. I am recently going organic with shampoo and conditioner (because regular ones test on animals and have harsh chemicals :S). Samy Pure hair products have natural ingredients, are sulfate free-no harsh chemicals, contain no wax or residue (it's not surprising how many shampoos have that), and are 100% vegan with no animal by-products.

Hey everyone!
There are these capsules called Nutricap. Apparently, it substantially increases the health and vitality of your hair, by giving it volume, strength, and natural shine.

Yesterday I woke up, showered, did my hair and got dressed. Not really very exciting. Then as I was doing my finishing touches - a belt here, legwarmers there - I saw that my hair had dried..and it looked OILY.

My grandmother is a sample lady. You know, one of those women who stands in the grocery stores plugging some product that you may or may not be interested and mostly just want to pass by as you're rushing towards whatever item is next on your list.
Maybe that's just me.

I've always been one of those people whose hair gets to a certain length and suddenly, I absolutely can't stand it and end up whacking off a couple inches the next time I go to the hair dresser. But, for whatever reason, this time, I've decided to let my hair grow long. And I love it!

I get a lot of questions about how I keep my locks healthy and shiny.
Easy.
And cheap.
Once a week and sometimes more (If I have more than one day off from work):
I put a dab of extra virgin olive oil in the palm of my hands, gently rub palms together and scrunch into hair (middle of hair shaft down to the ends) and comb through with a wide tooth comb. Just let the natural oil soak into your hair for the day or do this at night, wrap ends of hair and sleep away.

First off, I want to let you know I have only used this 4x's however I was able to form a opinion on this.
-The shampoo:
This works well however if used everyday it will dry your hair; I used it every other day. The product did exactly what it stated: removed dandruff, didn't overdry my hair and left it smooth (and silky.) The only problem I have with this is the ingredients:
Inactive Ingredients: Water,Sodium Laureth Sulfate,Sodium Lauryl Sulfate,Cocamide MEA,Zinc Carbonate,Glycol Distearate,Dimethicone,Fragrance,Cetyl Alcohol,Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride,Magnesium Sulfate,Sodium Benzoate,Magnesium Carbonate Hydroxide,Ammonium Laureth Sulfate,Benzyl Alcohol,Sodium Chloride.
