I need some reasonably quick and easy chic ideas for ponytails and buns. I don't know how to do any type of fashionable up-do other than a sleek, pulled back pony and wrapping hair around the hair tie. I am completely lost-I always have my entire outfits put together, but if I need to pull my hair up, it is a boring pony or crappy bun. Please help!

Carrie Underwood
THE LOOK -Half-up with cascading curls
HOW-TO- Using a curling iron, curl one-inch sections around the entire head. After all the hair is curled, gently loosen the curls with your fingers. Tease the hair at the crown and secure pieces from the sides of the crown with a pretty clip, letting bangs or face-framing pieces fall out.

Even though you may love the latest celebrity hair style, it might not be the right hair style for your face. The shape of your face and the proportions of your features will help tell you what hairstyle is best suited to you.
Oval-shaped face
You're lucky - this is the kind of face shape that suits just about any hairstyle.
