"I think I love you."
I remember the day we promised to be friends forever, I remember the irony, somehow the sourness of my heart is still there- you knew I loved you, D.
It was Christmas eve, we went out for gift shopping.

Every story has a beginning, i guess this is how everything started for me.
Ever felt that your teenage life was the most mundane, colorless and lifeless? Ever felt that you don't belong no matter how hard you tried to reach out? Ever felt forgotten because everyone seems to be more of an interesting subject than you are?

Barack Obama Jumps the Shark
By Stuart Schwartz
Barack Obama has jumped the shark.
This past week was when the forty-fourth president of the United States tugged on his leather jacket, strapped on his water skis, roared off behind a motorboat and fearlessly jumped over a live shark
The term "jump the shark" comes from a late seventies Happy Days episode when the series, desperately trying to stop its ratings slide, had the character Fonzie, in his trademark leather jacket, water ski over a shark during a visit to Hollywood. Since then, a show or movie series that tries increasingly more desperate moves as its audience disappears is said to have "jumped the shark."

My Open Letter to Liberals (American Thinker, July 31, 2009) sparked some concerns from readers that I had returned to the warm embrace of Mr. Rogers. Several kind souls even offered to spirit me away to safer pastures, sort of like a conservative witness protection program.
I can understand why it might have looked like I relapsed, perhaps by inhaling too much medical marijuana.

I got this in an email today from my best friend, and thought it was too wonderful not to share w/all of you. She said it was something that she reads to help her in hard times, she is a wonderful mother to 2 little boys (one who is severely disabled), and I admire her strength. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did (brought tears to my eyes)
Three Trees
There were three trees on a hill in the woods.

Oh yes, and the parcel fm my parents had not arrived either… No idea whether it had been the war or whether someone else had found it nice and kept it. Could be… Next time I would tell my parents – write OLD clothes and pls never ever write more than 50 Swiss Franks on it… However c’est la vie…
I did not count on it anymore – too many days had passed; i.e. more than a month.

A man and his dog were walking along a road. The man was enjoying the scenery, when it suddenly occurred to him that he was dead.
He remembered dying, and that the dog walking beside him had been dead for years.
