Many of the benefits of pets — companionship, affection and so on — have been well known for centuries — even numerous ancient Egyptians cherished their companion animals. However, data gathered during only the last few years have shown just how significantly our health is improved if we share our lives with animals.

Researchers have found that by using antioxidants to the skin, free radical damage that would usually happen through exposure to sunlight, can be avoided or at least lessened. Vitamin E is a well known component in many skin care creams of Netalab. The scientist proved that the protective effects of Vitamin E from that time of UV exposure were seen 2-3 days later.

NYC Health Department Launches Calorie Education Campaign
To maintain a healthy weight, most adults need no more than 2,000 calories a day
October 6, 2008 – "Read 'em before you eat 'em," the Health Department advises in a new campaign launched today to help New Yorkers make the most of the city's calorie-posting rules. Alas, I've been denied because of my ulcerative colitis.
