PFW- Balmain Spring 2009
This collection had three, strong, very different, and seemingly impossible to combine themes- the girly, denim grunge Alexander Wang does best, a cool, colorful cocktail dress that Herve Ledger is famous for, and that structured, suit for spring that Balenciaga did two seasons ago. It could have been an absolute train wreck of organza, shoulder pads, and ripped jeans, but it was surprisingly impeccably chic.
When he opened with a look much like Wang's designs, I was at first very confused- but I have to admit- that jacket was beautiful.

Can anyone find a look for less of the Herve Leger bandage dress in white or something similar? I found one by Marciano but it only comes in black and turquoise. I really like the dress and I want to wear it to an all white birthday party.Can You Pull This Off?
Cassie's wear a Herve Ledger dress and look damn good! Her hair completes the outfit and the shoes are fab, (if you're into feathers) and to top it off as an original look, Cassie wore a neon pink clutch. Can you pull this off?
