Marc Jacobs Opens Paris Stores
Twin Marc by Marc Jacobs stores — the first in Europe — opened this week at the Place du Marché Saint-Honoré in Paris, with a steady flow of young hipsters suggesting the American designer’s retail concept needs no translation.
“I think it’s going to be as successful as our stores on Bleecker Street, and they are very, very successful stores — some of the highest sales per square foot in retail,” said Robert Duffy, president of Marc Jacobs International.
It took more than three years to find just the right location, but this is exactly where the designer and his business partner, Robert Duffy, wanted it to be.
