This novel was recommended to me by Feralwoman who has since read it twice. I have been meaning to read it for several months, but had been preoccupied with reading fiction and non-fiction pieces that took place in Morocco in preparation for my travel there.
Upon my return home, I had difficulty in deciding what to read.

Here’s a great new Rob interview from the Sydney Morning Herald, this interview was most likely done in Cannes:Ask Robert Pattinson how he’s handling the global hysteria that now surrounds him and he says: “All right, I hope.” Then he runs his hand through that tousled mop of his (a sign that he’s anxious) and adds: “It’s still sort of new.”It’s almost 12 months since the first Twilight film was unleashed on the world. Twelve months since we clapped eyes on the sensitive, tortured and fiercely handsome vampire named Edward Cullen from Stephenie Meyer’s massively popular novels. Twelve months since Pattinson, the 23-year-old British actor who plays the red-blooded teenage vamp, became an international heart-throb.One minute he has a bit part in two Harry Potter films (he played Cedric Diggory in The Goblet of Fire and The Order of the Phoenix).

It ushered in the 1960s sexual revolution and gave women control over their own fertility. But the Pill may also have changed women's taste in men, according to a study.

I saw this over at ohnotheydidnt and thought it was really fun to read! I took the most interesting ones from the original post to share here.

EJF needs your help to protect Sierra Leone from Illegal Pirate Fishing
An Urgent Appeal - Every Penny Helps
In Sierra Leone, foreign trawlers fish illegally within the area restricted for local fishermen, causing overwhelming destruction to marine biodiversity as they take everything in their path. 75% of the catch is thrown back into the sea dying while local fishermen struggle to catch fish on which they and their families depend to survive. EJF is making an urgent appeal for donations to support our in-country programme in Sierra Leone.

I couldn’t wait to see this film in theaters- I wanted to see it the second it came out but was so busy that I didn’t get to it until a few days after Christmas. My love and anticipation for this film is a little odd- I’m a big Johnny Depp fan, and a HUGE Tim Burton fan, but really it was the Sweeney Todd part that drew me in.
Before I saw this film, everything I knew about Sweeney Todd I learned from Jersey Girl.

This caused a lot of comment that the third instalment of the series wasn’t very good, and that he should be moving forward, and is selling out. Everyone has their price – is yours more than $56 million?
