Johnny Depp’s mob movie becomes real crime scene
Johnny Depp’s new mobster movie became the scene of a real crime following the arrest of a juvenile who is accused of shooting a gun near the set. The 45-year-old star was filming the crime flick Public Enemies in Chicago, Illinois when he narrowly evaded the incident, which occurred just 30 minutes before the actor was scheduled to arrive. I couldn’t wait to see this film in theaters- I wanted to see it the second it came out but was so busy that I didn’t get to it until a few days after Christmas. My love and anticipation for this film is a little odd- I’m a big Johnny Depp fan, and a HUGE Tim Burton fan, but really it was the Sweeney Todd part that drew me in.
Before I saw this film, everything I knew about Sweeney Todd I learned from Jersey Girl.
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
***SPOILER ALERT!***
While this film was leaps and bounds better than the 2nd installment, there were still flaws that Johnny Depp's brilliant performance barely overcame. The 3rd movie in the Pirates trilogy was full of fantastic special effects, top notch acting (for the most part) and unfortunately, a confusing and all over the place script. The first third of the film I definitely had moments of "wait, what is going on here?"

I saw this movie back in May when it first came out because I had to. I fell in love with the first Pirates when I saw the trailer. I knew it would be fantastic and it was.
