Better late than never, my Halloween costume, an 80-hour labor of love, for the one and only Lady Gaga.
I documented the process of creating this costume from scratch, if anyone's interested, please read: http://the-ocd.blogspot.com

We can't be sure if this cover really is V's next, but it should be, because Lady Gaga has been bereft of a fashion-magazine cover for too long. Her spread in the last issue of V was so tame it was a tease. Maybe they held back on purpose for her big cover reveal, complete with skin the hue of an Oompa Loompa's and hair that's miraculously blonder than that of a Playboy Bunny's.

Chapter One
DIRECTED BY OLIVIER DAHAN FEAT. MARION COTILLARD
A short film is a smart way of promotion, so the French fashion house Christian Dior decided to make one. The film “The Lady Noire Affair” lasts for six and a half minutes, and was recorded in Paris.

Lady Gaga appears on the cover of the newest issue of Out. The editorial inside, shot by Ellen von Unwerth, is beyond-words amazing, out of this world, spectacular, stunning, jaw-dropping — we could go on. The goth homage to our favorite pop star includes a skeleton, vampire teeth, smeared lipstick, a mummy costume, and some of the fiercest shoes we have ever seen.

SKIN
• Lady Gaga's new arm tattoo says (in German, natch), "In the deepest hour of the night, confess to yourself that you would die if you were forbidden to write. And look deep into your heart where it spreads its roots, the answer, and ask yourself, must I write?"
MAKEUP
• Angelia Jolie wore very little makeup to the screening of Inglourious Basterds in Los Angeles last night.

Nothing goes better with an acoustic version of "Poker Face" than an elephant made of brown hair, which is perhaps why Lady Gaga wore just that atop her head on Japanese television recently. Bluesy piano music just doesn't have quite the same effect when, oh, sparklers are shooting out of the performer's boobs. But the elephant hairpiece wasn't nearly as delightful as Gaga's Kermit coat or her unicorn braid or her face mask.

Adam Lambert was highly praised for knowing who he was. From his provoking performance on "American Music Awards" Sunday night, his musical identity is not completely clear. Thousands of viewers were not happy with the kiss and others of Lambert's stage.
