Gold price hits record high as dollar wanes
Gold prices hit a record above 1,100 dollars on Monday with the dollar weakening after a pledge by G20 countries to keep economic recovery pumped up with easy money.
In morning trading here, gold struck an all-time peak of 1,109.50 dollars an ounce as the euro rose to 1.50 dollars for the first time in two weeks.
Gold "established itself above the psychological (1,100-dollar) level this morning as ministers at the weekend G20 meeting pledged to maintain their fiscal stimulus measures," said James Moore, an analyst at TheBullionDesk.com.

The year unfolded largely without incident. As summer gave way to a crisp fall and then winter, more complaints rose about the cost of tending to the orc camps, but both Terenas and Arthas expected such. Arthas continued to train with Uther.

I feel like I am exploding with advice for these bright eyed and bushy tailed first year public relations students bouncing through the halls of my school. Sure, that was me two years ago, shortly before my caffeine addiction came into existence as a result of way too many 8 a.m. classes and all nighters.

I thought women usually had problems mainly with their mother in laws.
My problem is my retired father-in-law-to-be. Father in law tends to buy a one-way ticket - often leaving his wife at home - the day before he travels and just informs us he's turning up. Leaving my partner and I to buy a return ticket - not by mutual consent mind you (my partner bleats that his father is "just trying to help" or "that's just the way he is" in response to my every objection) - but usually because I've had to nag for a week or two to get it, causing problems between the pair of us.

My apologies for having nothing originally in this post. The text was here but didn't show up.
Apparently this article is too long to be printed here, at about 11 pages. It is nevertheless worth reading, unless, as someone has already done, you have made your mind up what to believe before reading.

Lowest rating for Congress since January
by Frank Newport
PRINCETON, NJ -- Americans' approval of the job Congress is doing is at 21% this month, down significantly from last month's 31% and from the recent high of 39% in March.
Congressional Approval -- 2009 Trend
"The current drop in overall job approval to 21% particularly reflects a substantial drop in approval among Democrats, whose 36% rating this month is 18 points lower than last month's 54%, and the lowest since January of this year."

I've been involved with this guy for a while now, although we've never declared ourselves as officially together. It's been implied that we're not on the market for other people, but I'm still having a difficult time.
He's a guy who thinks quite highly of himself, although he's more confident than cocky.

More school: Obama would curtail summer vacation
Obama Addresses The Nation's School Children From High School In Arlington
By LIBBY QUAID
WASHINGTON – Students beware: The summer vacation you just enjoyed could be sharply curtailed if President Barack Obama gets his way.
Obama says American kids spend too little time in school, putting them at a disadvantage with other students around the globe.
"Now, I know longer school days and school years are not wildly popular ideas," the president said earlier this year.
