Whereas New York designers took this idea the sexy La Femme Nikita route with spiked heels, leather pants and zippers zippers zippers, London young influential designers have conjured a vision for Fall that has been far more brooding and sometimes tribal. London Fashion Week Prepares for Relaunch

Jul 14, 2009 - After being squeezed in in the few days between fashion weeks in New York and Milan, the British Fashion Council has prepared London Fashion Week for a comeback. Already, designers like Burberry, Jonothan Saunders, Matthew Williamson have switched their shows back for the event's 25th anniversary, and Kelly Cutrone has been hired to bring reality TV cameras (and hopefully editors and buyers). Kelly's fashion PR company, People's Revolution (which is completely US based right now) has been hired to do PR for London Fashion Week stateside, which includes promoting the event and British designers across the pond. - 1 Comment
