While the energy of the anti-tax and anti-Big Government tea party movement may yet haunt Democrats in 2010, the first order of business appears to be remaking the Republican Party.
Whether it’s the loose confederation of Washington-oriented groups that have played an organizational role or the state-level activists who are channeling grass-roots anger into action back home, tea party forces are confronting the Republican establishment by backing insurgent conservatives and generating their own candidates — even if it means taking on GOP incumbents.
“We will be a headache for anyone who believes the Constitution of the United States … isn’t to be protected,” said Dick Armey, chairman of the anti-tax and limited government advocacy group FreedomWorks, which helped plan and promote the tea parties, town hall protests and the September ‘Taxpayer March’ in Washington.

The Perfect Ponytails
September 22, 2009
With the weather heating up, most of us want to get that hair out of our face. It’s much easier to tie our hair up and head out the door feeling cool and comfortable in the heat than it is to style our hair with long waves hoping they last through the heat and sometimes humidity. But how do you make such a classic and practical style not boring? I’ve listed a few ways to make the classic ponytail different, fun, fresh and perfect for summer.
Low, Side-Parted Ponytail: Try moving the pony tail to the side, and add some curls with your curling iron..

I found this song on YouTube a few weeks ago, and it's pretty addictive. (FYI, Santigold was formerly known as Santogold. She changed her name in February 2009).

However much I complain about it, Uni Life is definitely interesting. One night, my groupmate and I were out going to comedy bars, trying to interview gay comedians and crossdressers. It was pretty hillarious, the owner of the comedy club waved the entrance fee so we could see the act.

Dubai in dock over Israeli tennis star's ban
(CNN) -- Dubai could lose its place on the Women's Tennis Association Tour calendar after Israeli Shahar Peer was denied entry to compete at this week's event, the WTA supremo warned Monday.
Peer was scheduled to fly into the United Arab Emirates on Sunday, but was informed Saturday night by telephone that she would not be granted a visa.
WTA Chairman and CEO Larry Scott said the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour "will review appropriate future actions with regard to the future of the Dubai tournament."
