Everybody comes to Hollywood
They wanna make it in the neighborhood
They like the smell of it in Hollywood
How could it hurt you when it looks so good
[Chorus:]
Shine your light now
This time it's gotta be good
You get it right now (yeah)
'Cause you're in Hollywood
There's something in the air in Hollywood
The sun is shining like you knew it would
You're ridin' in your car in Hollywood
You got the top down and it feels so good
I lost my memory in Hollywood
I've had a million visions, bad and good
There's something in the air in Hollywood
I tried to leave it but I never could
[Chorus]
There's something in the air in Hollywood
I've lost my reputation, bad and good
You're ridin' in your car in Hollywood
You got the top down and it feels so good
Music stations always play the same songs
I'm bored with the concept of right and wrong
Everybody comes to Hollywood
They wanna make it in the neighborhood
They like the smell of it in Hollywood
How could it hurt you when it looks so good
[Chorus]
'Cause you're in Hollywood
'Cause you're in Hollywood
In Hollywood [repeat three times]
Check it out, this bird has flown
[Chorus]
'Cause you're in Hollywood
'Cause you're in Hollywood
In Hollywood [repeat three times]
Push the button
Don't push the button
Trip the station
Change the channel
[Repeat x4]

DENIED: Bigotry of the Obamatrons by Charles Winecoff
Recently, at the office (a place I sometimes affectionately refer to as Obama Central), I made the mistake of printing out a Washington Post editorial that questioned the foreign policy expertise of our new Commander-in-Chief. By the time I got to the printer to pick it up, someone else had already seen it - and stamped “DENIED” across the top of the page in red ink. Next to that was scrawled, “RIGHT WINGER GO HOME.”
The first thing that went through my mind was: cross burnings.

Alex Rodriguez isn't the first athlete Madonna has pursued.
In the new issue of Us Weekly (on newsstands now), former Oakland A and onetime Yankee Jose Canseco details how the singer, 49, tried to romance him in 1991 even though, like baseball nemesis A-Rod, he was married at the time. (He first talked about the incident in his 2008 biography Vindicated.)
"She had a Cuban child and wanted another one," he tells Us.

Scammers are riding the wave of concern over the swine flu outbreak in their latest attempts to defraud unsuspecting consumers, the Better Business Bureau said.
“Scammers read newspapers, watch TV and surf the Internet and they know that by using a hook from the day’s top headlines, that they’ll be able to catch lots of fish,” said Jeannette Kopko, spokesperson for the BBB serving Dallas and Northeast Texas. "Right now, issues associated with swine flu and a potential pandemic are of global interest and that means scammers have a very large pond to go phishing in.”
Scam artitsts jumped at the chance to spark their own swine flu spam epidemic as soon as the news of the virus began, according to McAffee Avert Labs, an online security company.

LONDON (Reuters Life!) - From tattooed wild woman to humanitarian heroine -- what a difference a few years has made for Angelina Jolie, who topped a Reuters poll released on Thursday of the best celebrity humanitarians of 2007.
Hollywood star Jolie commanded the greatest public respect of all celebrity public do-gooders this year due to her work as a U.N. goodwill ambassador and as the adoptive mother tried to raise awareness of suffering in Africa.

You gotta hand it to the "Piv"... Since achieving world domination with his Emmy-winning role as Ari Gold on HBO's Entourage, Jeremy Piven has been stretching his fame as far as he can. And who wouldn't?

Madonna faces opposition from a group of civil rights lawyers in Malawi who are fighting to block her adoption of two-year-old tot David Banda. Activists in the country are demanding a change in the law to prevent foreign adoptions, fearing Madonna’s case could open the floodgates and encourage Westerners to flock there in search of prospective adoptive children.
The adoption of baby David sparked global controversy, with many children’s rights groups accusing the star of taking advantage of the poor nation.
