Jessica Simpson's Major Movie Star may have opened No. 1 in Russia earlier this month - but it's not having as much success stateside.
The flick will be renamed Private Valentine: Blonde & Dangerous, and released only on DVD in America, a source confirms to Usmagazine.com.

Vivica A. Fox, Steve Guttenberg, Ryan Sypek and "Saturday Night Live" veteran Cheri Oteri have been cast opposite Jessica Simpson in the comedy Major Movie Star for Nu Image/Millennium Films.
"High School Musical's" Olesya Rulin, "Gilmore Girls" regular Keiko Agena, Jill Marie Jones, Aimee Garcia and Gary Grubbs also star in the story of Megan (Simpson), a somewhat clueless movie star who impulsively enlists in the U.S.

Six college students from St. Louis accuse a popular Chicago nightclub of using a dress code banning baggy pants to racially profile them, denying them entrance to the club on a recent Saturday night.
The African-American students were part of a group of nearly 200 students from Washington University who were in Chicago on a fall break senior class trip the weekend of Oct.

Stewart was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Her father, John Stewart (not to be confused with The Daily Show`s Jon Stewart), is a stage manager and television producer who worked for FOX. Her mother is a scriptwriter who comes from Australia.

NEW DELHI —In a landmark ruling Thursday that could usher in an era of greater freedom for gay men and lesbians in India, New Delhi’s highest court decriminalized homosexuality.
“The inclusiveness that Indian society traditionally displayed, literally in every aspect of life, is manifest in recognizing a role in society for everyone,” judges of the Delhi High Court wrote in a 105-page decision, India’s first to directly address rights for gay men and lesbians. “Those perceived by the majority as ‘deviants’ or ‘different’ are not on that score excluded or ostracized,” the decision said.
