Well, as you can see I've changed my profile picture to this look. I loved it so much, I hope you don't mind Emalove! Emalove asked me about this look and I did this for her.

I haven't done a make-up look in a few months I believe. The nails kinda took my attention away, like you all didn't know that already...LOL
with this look I used my Coastal scents 28 palette and UDPP as a base.
(White arrow)- I took this green eyeshadow and packed it half way on my lids (do NOT blend yet).

I decided to clean out my make up train case which is huge! I tried to look for the expiration dates or this symbol:
Which indicates how many months it should last starting from the first time you use it.
And, tada!

And here is the second half of the make-up history from the blog I posted the other day
Fifties Glamour With Max Factor
In the 1950s colour films made an enormous impact on cosmetics. The huge cinema screens illuminated the unblemished appearance of stars and caused the make up artist Max Factor to invent an everyday version of the foundation he used called “Pan Cake”. This was a makeup to gloss over skin imperfections.

So I bought this case last weekend and posted about it (http://teamsugar.com/group/88093/blog/2658212), now I'm back to let you guys know how it went. It has occurred to me that I never give picture warnings. I apologize to anyone who is using a slower connection.

So I'll post a Holiday Haul later, but I wanted to share with you guys my glee of finally finding a make up case that suits my needs and style. I'm not a make up artist and I didn't want to spend $100 on a train case, nor did I want one that was shiny, bright, metal or see through, but I wanted a case to keep my loose mineral shadows, blushes and other loose powders upright. Well I was obsessing over MAC Ruling Class, searching for swatches, when I came across a blog where the owner had posted about buying this make up case for travel.

So I'm a :nerdgirl: and love learning about history (as does Clep and Karma). I'm especially intrigued by the history of women: what they wore, what they deemed acceptable, what kind of make-up/hairstyles were popular when, etc. So, of course having this suite, I HAD to do some history eh?

I wanted to post a video of a look that was fairly easy to learn to blend. Now Julie, whom is know to Youtube, has make up looks that are completely wearable during the day and for night...In this video, she is copying a look worn by Pussycat Doll's lead singer Nicole. Here's the original look....

Here is it, my first "tutorial" like look with more pictures. I do have a terrible cold so don't look at the tired eyes but look at the make-up on the eyes :P. This does take a lot more time so this won't be my usual post.

I think many of us have read/heard that your make-up should only take 10 minutes in the morning. I am reminded of this because I was flipping through the Jan. issue of InStyle and saw a quote from Bobbi Brown that said your eyes should take you 3 minutes tops, 5 minutes for an evening look.
