Mary-Louise Parker and her Weeds co-star Jeffrey Dean Morgan have broken off their engagement, PEOPLE confirms.
Parker, 43, who plays a pot-dealing mom on the Showtime series, and Morgan, 41, who plays her deceased husband (and Denny on Grey's Anatomy), were engaged earlier this year after a two-year on-again, off-again relationship.
Reps for Parker and Morgan declined to comment.

Emmy Rossum may be enduring an ugly end to a secret marriage, but at the moment, she and the new man in her life, Adam Duritz are making sweet music together, Duritz tells PEOPLE. Rossum, 23, whose secret husband Justin Siegel recently filed for divorce, was all in white at the American Ballet Theater Fall gala at Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall in New York on Wednesday. She was there with Duritz, lead singer of Counting Crows, with whom she's been seen smooching in Manhattan and Beverly Hills lately.

This photo was taken a few weeks ago on a really hot Sunday. Roamed around Soho and then grabbed some MIX fruit shakes before heading over to the boyfriend's for some junk food and to watch the new Weeds DVDs I just bought from HMV (love Mary Louise Parker!). I got this in Mango when it first came out a couple months ago I think but I'm always scared to wear it out in the dirty streets of HK.
