Brokeback Mountain is coming to an opera house near you. The New York City Opera commissioned Charles Wuorinen to compose a show based on the 1997 short story — which was turned into the 2005 Oscar-winning movie starring Heath Ledger (who died in January) and Jake Gyllenhaal.
