I'm pretty sure we're all familiar with the Sex and The City TV series so I'll skip the summary of what the movie version is about. In other words I don't want to accidentally spill a spoiler for those who haven't seen it so I'll just break my review down to the Pros and Cons of the 148 minutes movie. How very Miranda of me.

We just watched the movie Osama by Siddiq Barmak and I have to review it immediately. You know, I've supported RAWA (the Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan) financially, since long before 9/11. I've read lots about the Taliban and think I'm fairly knowledgeable about Afghanistan under that regime.

I did a search and didn't see any other reviews for The Squid and the Whale, so I'll throw my 2cents in.
This is the story of a family going through a separation and divorce, and all the troubles "Joint custody" cause. I am a lucky girl and my parents have been together for 35 years, but I recognized many of the situations from my friends lives.

Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay reunites everyone's favorite stoners on a cross country ride that leaves you laughing at the characters, the people next to you and even yourself.
The movie begins by doing the one thing that sequels rarely do: continue the story where the original left off. It literally begins with Harold in the shower getting ready to see his true love in Amsterdam and Kumar taking a massive dump while he's doing it.

Baby Mama" starring SNL alums Tina Fey and Amy Poehler is like a decent first date where you're glad you didn't get too dressed up or spend too much money.
The story begins with Kate (Fey) a very upwardly mobile V.P. of Round Earth, a Whole Foods knockoff.

An eerie, disturbing, and uncomfortable journey into the life of the man who is responsible for the assassination of late Beatles great John Lennon. Jared Leto (Requiem for A Dream, American Psycho, Fight Club) gained over 60 pounds to play the role of Mark David Chapman, in the days leading up to the unforgettable and infamous night of December 8, 1980. Leto completely transforms into the character, causing us to be disgusted of him, as well as, his antics, decisions, and logic behind why he is destined to kill John Lennon.

:star: I know this is a Marilyn Group, but I adore anything from the era of the forties and fifties, so I thought that this would be a fun first movie to review! Enjoy!

Wool 100% (2006)
Director: Mai Tominaga
Once upon a time, two quiet and quirky sisters lived in their cluttered mansion. Each day they would eat the same breakfast before sneaking out to examine the garbage of the people who lived in the city near by. Quickly darting from bin to bin, so as not to be seen, this odd pair would rescue what others had tossed aside.
