Basically, when you buy music from iTunes, it comes with a copyright protection called DRM. These DRM-protected songs are locked so that they only work with Apple MP3 players. That means that if you bought a Microsoft Zune, you cannot use iTunes music.

Someone posted a 90's playlist on here the other day, and it got me to thinking about what the 90's meant for me. I decided to make a playlist of the songs that I loved the most during that decade. I was in high school in the 90's and a lot of the music that I enjoyed at that time was due to where I was in my life at the time I suppose.

What happens when you're home sick and you don't know what to do with yourself? Well, if you're me, you end up organizing your online music and wondering when you managed to get so many freaking songs!
Anyway, I'm an 80's music maniac and over the years, I feel that I've managed to accumulate a pretty hefty collection of one hit wonders, classic hits, and some odd little songs that only a handful of you might remember.

Songbird is the latest chic desktop web player that will scan your hard drive, taking your personal and web music libraries and combining them into one user-friendly audio player zone. Once all your MP3, AAC, OGG, FLAC, WMA, and other files are organized, you can start creating personal playlists and rock the night away. Built off the Mozilla engine, Songbird can run on Mac OS X, Linux and Windows.

I love my iPod, but there is a new music player vying for my heart: the slotRadio ($79) by Sansa.
The two-inch-by-two-inch clip-on music player comes with a data card with 1,000 songs from the Billboard music charts, with prearranged playlists by music genre. I tried the additional Health and Fitness mix, which includes the mixes for warmup, cardio, roadwork (cycling), power (lifting), yoga, cooldown, and the even more mellow spa mix.
