Six weeks after welcoming their first son, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden – along with their 22-month-old daughter Harlow – are showing off the latest addition to their family, Sparrow James Midnight Madden.
"I couldn't be happier," Richie tells PEOPLE. "The only thing you want is for your kids to be healthy and happy, and they are.

The new issue of People Magazine features Nicole Richie and 6 week-old baby Harlow on the cover. In the accompanying interview, Richie and her boyfriend, Joel Madden, talked about their experiences having a baby and how it changed their lives. Both Nicole and Joel said that the baby helped bring their family closer together, and that their parents and Joel’s brother are a big help.Did Nicole and Joel set Benji up with Paris to get him out of their hair?
Nicole Richie praised her baby daddy’s twin brother in her People interview, and revealed that Benji Madden is always willing to babysit her now seven week-old daughter, Harlow. Nicole also said that Harlow smiled for the first time at her uncle. Christina Aguilera and Jordan Bratman threw their son Max a no-expenses-spared bash in honour of his first birthday at their Beverly Hills estate on Saturday.
The bash, whose theme was inspired by the classic children's book Where the Wild Things Are, was held at the singer's Beverly Hills home.Throughout the morning, balloons and equipment were delivered at the family home in prepartion of the day-long festivities.Pal Nicole Richie, boyfriend Joel Madden and daughter Harlow, whose big day was on Jan. 11, were among the 40 guests at the casual backyard celebration.

With the birth of her first child just two months away, Nicole Richie says her pregnancy has helped her bond with her biological mother – and brought her closer to dad Lionel Richie. "When I found out that I was pregnant," she tells Access Hollywood's Billy Bush, "there was just something inside of me that felt a responsibility to mend any issues that I've had with my parents in the past, because, listen, I've put them through a lot." The Daily Mail has an exclusive story that Paris Hilton was rebuffed by soccer player Ronaldo at Vila nightclub last night. It’s possible all they know is that both Paris and this guy Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays for Manchester United, were at the same club at the same time. But if this has a shred of truth to it then Paris and Benji Madden have probably hit a rough patch at the very least: The Manchester United striker - currently in LA on an undisclosed business trip - arrived at trendy hotspot Villa in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
