We had been using our spare room as a storage room/office for the past two years, but have now started the process of turning it into a nursery for our baby boy, due in February. Step 1 was to empty it out and next week we will begin painting. It's a small, odd shaped room that is pretty narrow, so I don't have a ton of space, but will try to use it wisely.

Non-toxic and Homemade Remedies
Homemade remedies are inexpensive and, best of all, you know what is going into your garden. Many homemade sprays have been used with good results to control harmful insects. They usually involve noxious (but non-toxic) ingredients such as garlic, cayenne, stinging nettles or horsetail which are diluted in water and blended to be sprayed on the plants.
