Ontario Winter Poem sent to me by my Dear Friend Sharon,
It's winter here in Ontario
and the gentle breezes blow,
seventy miles an hour,
at twenty five below.
Oh, how I love Ontario
when the snow's up to your butt.
You take a breath of winter air
and your nose freezes shut.

An old soul is the last thing you would expect to find inside Justin Bieber. But all it takes is one listen to the 15 year-old soul-singing phenomenon to realize that he is light years ahead of his manufactured pop peers. After posting dozens of homemade videos on YouTube in 2007, where the multi-talented Bieber put his impeccable spin on songs from artists like Usher, Ne-Yo and Stevie Wonder, Justin racked up over 10,000,000 views purely from word of mouth.I started singing about three years ago, says the Canadian native who grew up an only child in Stratford, Ontario. I entered a local singing competition called Stratford Idol.

Michael Moore's new documentary "Sicko" launched in London, Ontario, Canada on Friday night.
He arrived fifteen minutes before show time. He lingered for interviews and fans outside "Masonville's Silver City", delaying the start time of the movie.

These are actually pictures from last weekend when we went walking through Liuna Gardens in Stoney Creek, by Lake Ontario. The Gardens are used for receptions and weddings, so the Gardens by the Lake were really nice to walk through. I was able to get some indoor shots as well!!!

Ontario, Canada's biggest energy user, aims to close its last coal-fired plant by 2014. The current Conservative government plans on continuing 2003's Liberal government's plan of refurbishing existing plants, which now represent 37% of installed power and are maintaining the possibility of building new ones. It also plans "to push conservation, reinvest in renewable supply sourcse such as wind power, and boost by 15% its reliance on natural gas to supplement what's lost from coal."
