As it grows out of our scalp, our hair is no longer alive. Once the hair is damaged, the hair has no way of repairing itself because its already dead.
So many things can damage our hair, and although natural wear and tear can't be avoided, you CAN protect your hair from many damaging elements.

Well, I'm selling my mini-me. I just haven't really been feeling her. I don't know what it is.

Dear Mr. President ...
Christopher Hitchens (Winter 2009 edition of "World Affairs)
The format and timing of this letter do not allow me to be among the first to congratulate you: indeed, even though I sit down to write these words on the brave and beautiful November day on which the world saw you arrive to be given your first conducted tour of your new Washington home, nobody including you will be able to read them until we are much closer to the day of your inauguration. Congratulations nonetheless, along with, I suppose, an admonition not to be too much overwhelmed by the Niagara of different “hopes” with which you are every day inundated.

This afternoon between working and surfing the net, I stumbled upon a blog written by Bethenny, one of the Real Housewives of NYC. She had a lot of pointed comments about the Atlanta housewives especially for Kim and Sheree. Now mind you, all of her comments were not bad.

The truth is, once the damage is done and your hair is split, there is nothing you can do to fix it. You will have to get a trim and have the damaged ends removed.
Split ends are caused by many things- over brushing, exaggerated backcombing, brushing wet hair, coloring and perming, vigorous towel drying, elastic bands, hair accessories and your health, to name just a few.

Bizarre Court Statements
"I object to your calling me a person, your honor."
[Rodney Skurdal in 1996 when asked by a federal magistrate
if he had the right person before him.]
"What are you talking about, some 'witness,' man, There
was only me and her in the store."
[Blurted out by a defendant in objection to testimony by
a police officer who accidentally used the term "witness"
instead of victim.]
"I enjoyed drinking while driving.

I just wanted to get an idea of what people actually tip their hair dresser when they get a hair cut or a perm or something'?
Call me a cheapskate but I don’t tip.
What's your opinion?

I sense that the look I selected for the next competition isn't being received with enthusiasm.
So to help you ladies out, I did decided to put some examples of Japanese Street Fashion up and hopefully that inspires you all to do some research and put some really great lists together. I was hoping to have to toss and turn over my decisions...but so far only one person has entered.
