Alessandra Ambrσsio (Biography)
Alessandra Corine Ambrσsio was born in a small town of Erexim,Brazil on April 11, 1981 to petrol station-owner parents. She is of Italian and Polish descent.[9][4] She was just eight years old when she decided she wanted to be a model, after seeing a picture of top covergirl Karen Mulder in a magazine. "I wanted to be like her," she recalls.[4] However, she felt insecure about her appearance, particularly of her large, obvious ears.

Heidi Klum says Iman is right that she has less fashion experience
Heidi Klum launched her line of Jordache Jeans at Bloomingdales in Beverly Hills yesterday. The 34 year-old model and mother of three answered a reporter’s question about comments from model Iman, who hosts Canada’s version of Project Runway. Iman said that she has much more experience with high fashion than Klum, who hosts Project Runway in the US.The Met: Model As Muse: Embodying Fashion
The Met's spring exhibit, organized by the Costume Institute, will be called Model As Muse: Embodying Fashion. It will hilight the influences of supermodels such as Kate Moss, Cindy Crawford, Naiomi Campbell, Gisele Bunchen and many other supermodels of the 20th century.
