Besides the whimsical visuals and humor from "Pushing Daisies", I also love the musical score.
The composer for "Pushing Daisies", James Michael Dooley, was interviewed by Tracksounds & talked about his work for the show.... You can read the interview here!

It comes on tonight and I was just wondering? Of course it has to premiere the same time as America's Next Top Model so I will have to put it on my DVR.
I am curious to see if it is any good.

Sunday night's 61st Primetime Emmy Awards got off to a big yuk even though the first winner of the evening, Kristin Chenoweth, dissolved into tears as she accepted her golden statuette as best supporting actress in a comedy series – ABC's canceled Pushing Daisies. "I don't know why I'm crying," she said, after thanking her parents.

Gina Torres has been cast on Gossip Girl as Vanessa's mother.
Gabriela Abrams, mother to home-schooled Vanessa, is described as being warm and outgoing, which will certainly be a change of pace for this show, not exactly known for parental virtuousness (much as Rufus and Lily might mean well).
She is a free spirit, herself a former Brooklynite who lives "off the grid" in Vermont and expresses strong opinions about things, especially concerning her daughter.

Only one nod for The Office (Steve Carell, of course) and NONE for Lost.

This movie was entertaining and charming. And the first movie I've seen that has so many british people on it. I just love people with accents!

Kristen Chenoweth is going in a new direction with her music. She's working on releasing an album, and according to Kristen, this one's for the gays! She says her makeup artist gave her the idea to make an album of songs that are popular in the gay community.
