More often than not, when someone is telling me a story all I can think about is that I can’t wait for them to finish so that I can tell my own story that’s not only better, but also more directly involves me.
Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.
I don't understand the purpose of the line, "I don't need to drink to have fun."

One of our dear friends and prolific fashionista Pinkflats is graduating from college on Sunday, May 18th and I thought it would be important to recognize her rite of passage and send her well wishes and congratulations on her accomplishment! I ask that all her Sugar Friends join in and congratulate Pink!
For the occasion, I thought about motivational words to further propel Pink into the the working world or wherever she chooses to continue her journey.

The happiest places on Earth
Ryan Maloney
"Taking all things together on a scale of one to 10, how happy would you say you are?" With that question and global surveys, the folks at the World Database of Happiness have ranked 95 nations on a happiness scale.
Switzerland's citizens closely trail the Danish, each reporting an average happiness level of 8.1 (out of 10), followed by Iceland (7.8), Finland (7.7), Australia (7.7) and Sweden (7.7), all the way down to grim Moldova (3.5).

Judy Garland was an American singer/entertainer who is considered by most to be the greatest female musical star of Hollywood's Golden Era. Perhaps best known and loved for the magic she brought to stage, screen, television, and recordings, her intense acting ability, singular communicative power, humor, and powerful singing voice were — and still are today — considered nearly unequaled.
The Beginning
Judy (christened Frances Ethel Gumm and nicknamed "Baby") was born on June 10, 1922, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

American taxpayers beware

By John Boehner - House Republicans have taken a stand against wasteful Washington spending by calling for a complete freeze on all "earmarks" and pork-barrel projects. While our challenge has largely fallen on deaf ears — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, California Democrat, could shut down the earmark process tomorrow if she wanted to — our cause has a strong ally in Sen. John McCain.

I just wrote about how I was unsatisfied with the glittery Urban Decay Wallpaper Shadow Box. Yesterday, I went to Sephora to return it.
I've been on a quest for a primer, and even though I raved about Philosophy the Present Clear Makeup last week, the more I used up my sample, the more I realized that, although it did make my skin silky, my makeup was still pretty much gone by the end of the day.

According to Chinese astrology I am a Rat. I've know this for a long time, as I had a Vietnamese friend in Elementary School and we were all Rats in my class except for the few born in January or February. I never checked up on what it meant to be a rat though, it was an uninviting thought; I'd rather be a Tiger or a Horse, or at least something that didn't kill off half of Europe's population at some point.
