Usually, when I buy a moisturizer.. I'm not picky. I just look for a non-oily product with SPF.

1. Anti-inflammatory aid – New anti-aging products are packed full of ingredients that are used as anti-inflammatories. Deep set lines and wrinkles are being treated like wounds with new “healing” creams.

When you're into a hobby you tend to learn about it the longer you're interested. If any of you ladies read my on sugar blog, you already know I hate most of those fake ass YouTube reviews. I've bought countless items only because they hyped up the products.

I'm just going to put up photos of everything, and list what I forgot to take photos of :P
I'm up for swaps or OA, whatever - I just want my drawer space back!! :P I would definitely prefer MULTISWAPS though, because most of this stuff will cost at least $9 to ship due to Canadian shipping prices x.x
(The MAC Plum Perfect in this pic is being swapped in 5g samples)
Body Shop cream blush and Philosophy gloss are gone!
Everything but the Rimmel and e.l.f.

I just got an informative email from totalbeauty.com (highly recommend this site- after bella, of course). It basically goes through cleansing, exfoliating, serums, creams, etc... and what order they should be applied for maximum benefit.

I’ve been a bit obsessed with sunscreens lately. I think it has to do a bit with the Rx retinols I am using for my face as well as summer time outside with the kids. My kids are always lathered up, but they are still getting tan.

I just ran across this information from skin care expert Paula Begoun- author of the very popular book, "Don't go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me" and creator of the skin care line, Paula's Choice. She has created two lists of important anti-aging ingredients as well as product recommendations. As she puts it,
“What you will discover in this report is a comprehensive list of the more popular cosmetic ingredients that have substantiated research showing them to be among the top "anti-aging" ingredients available today.”
Here is the breakdown:
A-List- Leading the way to Healthier, Younger Looking Skin:
Glycolic (or Lactic) Acid:
Salicylic Acid
Retinol
Vitamin C
Vitamin E
Niacinamide
Sunscreen Actives
B-List- Playing a Supportive Role To Help Skin Look its Best:
Green Tea
Soy Isoflavones / Extract
Pomegranate
Ceramides
Linoleic / Linolenic Acids / Phospholipids
I really like how she has the scientific research there for everyone to look into themselves and avoids some ‘breakthrough’ or trendy ingredients if they don’t have the research to back their claims.
