Its amazing what you can do with basic rice crispy treats and some marzipan...
Yes, thats really all this is, other than some wood skewers for support, a little food coloring, some melted chocolate and ground coffee mud, and a little cocoa powder "dirt".
So what is it for?

When I was little and all growing up, whenever I was down in the dumps or kinda stressed out my mom would make this for me and it would make me feel better. It was also heavenly on cold, winter nights for dinner. I guess this is the "comfort" food she passed down to me.

As the numero uno carrier of heart healthy antioxidents out of any food known to man, red kidney beans should be a part of everyone's health regimen. Some people refuse to eat beans, though, because the...well, to put it politely..."after effects" can be disturbing (especially to bystanders!). If you place a raw red potato, unskinned but poked with a fork, into the beans while you cook them, the gas-producing enzyme will not be a problem.

I had a scrumptious lunch today at an HP press event held at the Dusit Hotel (Makati, Philippines). I'm a little too familiar with hotel food, so this came as a nice surprise. [Sorry the pics aren't too sharp - I used my cameraphone to take them, since I didn't want to call attention to what I was doing.]
Bread roll with butter.

One thing that may have catapulted snowboarder Hannah Teter onto the Olympic podium for the second time in her career is her diet. Hannah — who scored a silver in the women's halfpipe — tells People that she credits turning vegetarian for making her a better athlete: "I started that [a vegetarian diet] last year and feel stronger mentally and physically, and springier."
Even though Teter has given up meat, she still gets plenty of protein.

What you will need:

Large cooking Pot
Olive Oil
3-4 Boneless skinless chicken breasts
One large can of tomato sauce
one small can of pineapple (sliced or crushed) with juice
One orange (for juice and zesting!)
salt and pepper
white or brown rice
Rinse and dry chicken breasts and marinate (ziploc bag or large casserole dish) in fresh squeezed orange juice.
*it is best to marinate overnight!*
In large skillet, heat 2 TBS olive oil and brown chicken. While browning chicken, heat tomato sauce in large pot, along with pineapple and juice, add salt and pepper to taste, and orange zest.
