Street Scene was born in 1984, not once, but twice! There were two Street Scenes that first year: one in May and one in August. Both events occupied just one block of downtown San Diego, on 5th Avenue between J & K Streets -a piece of pavement was part of the Street Scene footprint for 19 years.

Tourist for a Day
I live in San Diego and rarely take advantage of how beautiful my city is. There are so many great places to take pictures so a friend and I decided we should be tourists for a day and took a hike at Torrey Pines State Reserve. I took the pictures with my canon powershot SD 940IS.

Summer Vacation '08 - San Diego aka Happy Birthday to Us
So, on Days 5 - 8 of my trip, I flew down to San Diego to surprise my BFF, Jarrod for his birthday. It was also a birthday present to me since it's been almost a year since I've seen him. Over the course of the weekend, we went to see Jewel & Brad Paisley in concert (& kissed cute boys), visited the outlets in Viejas, shopped in Sea Port Village, partied at Universal (VIP party!), Urban Mo's (yeehaw MoFo's on me!), and Rich's (omg - cute boys in tighty whiteys), stopped by Flick's to flirt, and went to Sea World (where we watched a penguin orgasm - omg!).
San Diego Doggie Street Fair - This Weekend!
Hey everyone, There's a doggie street fair happening this sunday in San Diego! It's the first one and it looks like it should be a lot of fun. I'm excited to go!!
