A blast from the past! German fashion atelier, LAC ET MEL, brings the 3/4 trouser back to the style front with updated features in fine corderoy. A high-waisted yoke with velvet buttons yields a sleek look to the mid-section while deep square pockets provide enough space for keys and lipstick.

I don't even remember the last time I actually tucked in a shirt and wore a belt in the loops like a regular person. But this shirt (which is sheer w/ satin stripes) is a little long so it looked frumpy with these wide pants. But now I think I'm going to try this more often because I really like it!!

When it comes to blouses, I'm often attracted to those with romantic details such as ruffles, lace and bows. My latest obsession is the tie neck blouse.
Although there are many different styles, I have yet to see a tie neck blouse that I didn't like.

The period between 1901-1910 is often called the Edwardian Era after Queen Victoria's successor, King Edward VII. Sophisticates and the French also refer to this time as La Belle Epoque, or "Beautiful Age," as there was a definite leaning toward classical aesthetics. It was an era of beautiful clothes and the peak of luxury living for a select few: the very rich and the very privileged through birth.

I've been looking for new cardigans for fall, and while this isn't exactly a fall color, coral is one of my favorites. It always seems to make my face look flushed.
Coral Cardigan: Moda International, Victoria's Secret, $15
White Blouse: BCBG, $17 (at the outlet)
Brown Slacks: Tokyo Collection, Overstock (gift)
Tan Purse: Unknown, $15 at local store
Satin Leopard Print pumps: Bakers shoes $45
