MSNBC’s The Scoop reports that Tom Cruise was so afraid of the inevitable negative reviews of his bloated Nazi movie Valkyrie that he offered journalists a free screening at his mansion in exchange for some kind words. I wonder if they included a complimentary stress test with that. (You know I’m not going to be the only one to make that joke today.) It’s unclear if the screening actually happened or if it was just planned:
“Distractingly bad,” and “unengaging Nazi escapade” are among some of the reviewers’ comments attached to “Valkyrie,” Tom Cruise’s film that opens Christmas day.

It seems that it isn’t just women in Hollywood who are under pressure to be slim - Jack Black wants to lose a few pounds after seeing his bare behind on the big screen. I can completely sympathize, I feel the same way after seeing mine in a hand mirror.
“When I saw my rear end in my nude scene in Margot at the Wedding, it actually had a double chin,” he tells Parade.com.

As reported by OK! last week, it looks like any rumors you'll be seeing a big-screen version of hit NBC sitcom Friends are just that — rumors.
Not long after the first report appeared in London's Daily Mail last week, reps for several of the show's stars came out of the woodwork to shoot down the report that the cast, spurred on by the success of the recent Sex and the City feature film, had agreed to get together one last time.
