Shiny Leggings

I finally got my wet look leggings, and though they look not-so-wet as I hoped, I pretty much like them. So... I'm thinking of wearing them with short dresses/tunics and shorts (looks good, honestly!). Definitely not with mini-skirts. If I were skinny I'd also tried them with some long tee or maybe shirt... But I'm not :) Yeah, and the shoes... That's actually the only pair of heels I have at work (I wonder why :) The leggings would've looked better with some black stilletos, which I definitely need (I'm searching for a perfect pair actually). The best thing I like about the leggings is the way they wrinkle at knees and ankles, I find it really cute :) Next time time I'll write about the dress (I'm not sure how it's called properly)... Which btw looks perfect with the white shirt. --- Leggings - Bershka; Shoes - Camelot; Dress - Cropp town; Shirt - Incity; Belt - thrifted.

How do you get over body insecurities?

I have always been very insecure. I'm not fat, so it's not a size issue. I mean, sure I can lose a few more pounds, I could tone up a bit and be hotter. But that's the thing, I don't worry about my weight a lot because it's something that I can do something about. I can fix it if I want to. It's within my control. Other things aren't.
For instance, my face. There are things that I don't like, there's just something that doesn't really click. And my hair. Have you ever heard of "low density" hair? It sucks, I have low density hair. My hair has a nice color, it's shiny, healthy... but I have little hair. I don't have voluminous hair, when I do a ponytail it looks ridiculous. I have a tiny ammount of hair. And I don't like short hair. I would love to have long hair, but I just keep it at a happy medium, at shoulder lenght.
And then my body. My biggest hang up are my small boobs and my cellulite. Self explanatory, right? And there's little I can do about them naturally at least. And there's something about surgery and being "fake" that doesn't sit well with me.
I don't know what to do about it. I've been to therapy and it didn't work. I can't really think of anything that's really HOT about me. I have a nice waist to hip ratio. But that's it! My butt has cellulite all over, it's not round and big and perky, I have small boobs, my legs have cellulite, my face is regular, etc., etc. The problem is my boyfriend is the one that suffers the most.
Ok, he doesn't "suffer the most", but he's sick of my insecurity. The problem is he likes women such as Katy Perry, Salma Hayek, Scarlet Johansson, Monica Bellucci, etc. They're all curvy, especially on top. They're all perfect looking. I know they're celebs and a lot of it has to do with make up, but even in candid pictures they look well, without any type of make up, etc. And I know it's fantasy, but isn't fantasy something you'd love to have in real life, but because of life's circumstances you can't have? It doesn't mean you don't want it, you just can't have it.
I asked him once if he preferred big breasts and he said yes. I asked him if he thought the women I mentioned above look better than me. He said yes. He immediately told me he loves me, he wants to be with me, he'll never meet them, they'd never give him the time of day, and that nobody is perfect. He immediately turned the tables and asked me if I didn't think that muscular guys with 11 in. penises were much hotter. I said no, because I've never been really shallow and well, maybe it's love, but I think he's the hottest man alive! I think some actors are good looking and hot, but NEVER hotter than him. Ever. I can honestly say that he turns me on more than any Hollywood hunk, and that I don't think he's hotter than them. Honestly.
He's fed up with it and told me I either get over it or he'll end it with me. I understand that, I guess it is tiresome to have a needy girl by your side. I don't know what to do. How do I get over these insecurities? It seems impossible. I can't help making snide remarks when he leaves a Katy Perry video on, or feel bad and terribly envious when I catch him catching a discreet glance at some skinny girl with big boobs.
It feels like I'll never get over it. I wish my body type (kind of pear shaped) was hotter. But it's not and I can't seem to accept it. He never makes bad comments about my body, and I know I shouldn't rely on him for self esteem, but he definitely has an influence. Oh God, I can't even put it in words, I feel so confused over my inability to love this body of mine. So, what can I do?

California's been hit by some serious weather the past week, but Annabelle and I caught a break to go cruisin' today. I bought this cotton hooded cape by American Apparel months ago and have yet to wear it; I don't know why, it's pretty fly. Shiny leggings and my trusty black flat boots are simple, letting the dramatic cape capture attention. My mom knits all my cozy accessories and this nubby black beanie is a cashmerical.
