A little long, but worth reviewing every Summer, I think :
It doesn't take much time in the sun for most people to get the vitamin D they need, and unprotected exposure to the sun's ultraviolet rays can cause skin damage, eye damage, immune system suppression, and even cancer. Even people in their twenties can develop skin cancer....
Most kids rack up between 50% and 80% of their lifetime sun exposure before age 18, so it's important that parents teach their children how to enjoy fun in the sun safely.

Fifties Glamour With Max Factor
In the 1950s colour films made an enormous impact on cosmetics. MASTECTOMY: the surgical removal of the affected breast(s), and the reconstructive surgery involved in re-creating a new breast out of skin grafted from the abdomen.
I learned the definition of this procedure in junior high, when my mom came home with the dreaded manila envelope carrying her test results. I remember the tears in her eyes, fixated on the screen, playing the VHS tape on the TV, where they scientifically explained the various reconstructive options she had.
