Sex is everything. To go beyond sugarcoating the issue, wether it be in relationships, advertisement, media, and the like, sex is everything and everywhere. Wether it be part of an innuendo, a sub-context, flat out blatant in your face, or anything between, it's undeniable that sex is an integral part in not only our culture, but our everyday life.

On Wednesday night when I got home from work my sister was home and my dad was in the kitchen preparing a Spanish tapas feast! I've been craving Spanish food for some time now and I threw down my stuff, slapped on my apron, and helped him finish up the meal. We had tortilla, roasted peppers stuffed with marinated tuna roll ups, gambas al ajilo, patatas bravas, and pan frito con chorizo.

UN Budgets and Follow the Money
Kenneth Anderson • November 8, 2009 9:01 pm
The New York Times reports on budget season at the UN and various battles hotting up. It’s a good piece by Neil MacFarquhar, dated November 7, 2009. As the article says, that fact that
it costs the United Nations an average of $2,473 per page to create every single document in its six official languages, while outside contractors complete the same work for around $450, prompts diplomats to accuse the organization of running amok during a global financial crisis.

My friend Enrique sent me a picture the other day that he took specially for me. He was at the annual Mercado Medieval, Cordoba's answer to the Renaissance Faire and stumbled upon a beautiful bucket full of olives. Now I am craving real Andalucian olives...looks like I'll have to book a flight to Spain to satisfy my craving!

Nothing beats a delicious plate of Spanish cheese and fresh sliced ham. I arrived last night and went straight to my friend Paco's restaurant, Paco Acedo, for a tasty tapa. Oh man was the ham good!

This is a fast and absolutely delicious recipe from the New York Times. I advise you to try it before the tomato season is over. Just beware of the pimenton - 2 teaspoons make it very spicy.

On my last night in Spain, my bff Antonio took me to this little dive of a sandwich place to get one of the best little known tapas, a specialty of the bar. I don't even remember the name of the place but man were these little bocaditos delish! Cubes of cheese wrapped in pancetta and crisped on the grill.
