Chanel's New Girl
While Karl Lagerfeld has for sure seen his fair share of campaigns in his career with Chanel (a new girl every two or so seasons). Now, he's now decided move away from Clauida Schiffer, and to launch the career of Heidi Mount, the model who opened and closed the Chanel resort show. It was about time someone replaced her after she had her two seasons, especially since such a huge fashion house can't really have a past-her-day supermodel as a muse.

I've been doing some research on the picture Eu challenged me with.
I found out that the model is Anna Selezneva. The picture was taken backstage at the Gucci fashionshow.

Amidst depressing fashion news such as Bill Blass shutting down shop and Mischa Barton’s new headband line, it has been difficult lately to get excited about fashion. Much like a sweaty yoga session, perhaps this firestorm has a similar purpose: to burn off the excess. What we are left with then are designers with talent and lines with a vision.

Zac Posen is bringing the pastel palette for Spring 2009. The designer unveiled his collection at NYC Fashion week which brought in stars like Claire Danes, Anna Wintour, Jada Pinkett Smith, Marissa Tomei,Serena and Venus Williams, just to name a few. If there's any guarantee from Posen it's that his collection won't disappoint.would have been had - wow power leveling

Today's Challenge was Nicole Richie's look from the Proenza Schouler Spring 2009 Fashion Show and she had the same look at the Cipriani restaurant in Downtown Manhattan New York City on the 8th of September 2008.

My line is slightly thinner because I didn't use false lashes, and I didn't want to look like Amy Winehouse.

Guess who's back on the runway?
26-year old Russian supermodel Natalia Vodianova took the runway again this morning in Paris in the name of Nicholas Guesquiere when she opened the Balenciaga show. She looked beautiful (and definitely not like she's had three kids!). No one knows yet if she's back for good, but I'd love to see more of her!
