Galactic Settlement Initiative Rewards Players with Collectible In-Game Items when they cring friends into the online Star Wars experience
LucasArts and Sony Online Entertainment announced the launch of a Buddy Referral Program for Star Wars Galaxies that offers current players rewards for bringing friends into the game.
The Empire is looking for new citizens to join the galaxy and is offering collectible in-game items to current players who recruit new settlers. Players can earn up to four collectible in-game items for referring buddies into Star Wars Galaxies.
Cool Stuff: 30 Years of LucasFilm Christmas Cards ~ Star Wars Obsession Group
For the last 30 years, Lucasfilm has created special holiday greeting cards for its employees and business partners. This year’s card by Lorraine LeBer, photographed above, features three rows of die-cut pop-up Stormtroopers holding candles and songbooks.

Jedi’s and lightsaber’s await you at the New Year's Eve Pops Concert. The audience will be dazzled as the Lima Symphony Orchestra takes the stage to perform the principal music from all six feature films in the Star Wars Saga.
Visiting Star Wars characters in authentic Lucasfilm costume will greet you in the lobby and a lightsaber fight will take place right on the Crouse Performance Hall stage in downtown Lima, Ohio.
