I really didn't expect to enjoy the Super Bowl this year. Partly because this was the first time in three years that one of my two favorite teams (the Steelers and the Colts) was not in the game, and partly because I dreaded the chance that New England might blow out the Giants. But I did enjoy it, and not just because the Giants won.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will perform at next year’s (09) Super Bowl after months of rumors reporting the rock veteran will take center-stage at the event. Sprinsteen and his E Street Band is slated to headline the half-time show at the NFL showdown in Tampa Bay, Florida the most-watched musical showcase of the year, according to the organizers.
R&B talent Usher, had hoped his NFL season kick-off performance earlier this month would help him land the coveted Super Bowl half-time show.

Tom Petty was picked to perform at Next year's Super Bowl Half TIme. Even though it's early December and the super bowl will not be around until another month, hearing who's the half time performer makes me look forward a hella lot less now. And for someone who has no clue what the heck is going on during a football game, Half Time is my favorite part of the entire superbowl.

I saw Paula Abdul shortly after she performed at the Super Bowl on Sunday. She was with her boyfriend (I believe). She didn't say one word!

So, who will win the big game?
I'm going with The New England Patriots, even though I'm a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. I imagine that the New York (football) Giants will do a fine job at maintaining the game, but they won't come out on top.

The bit at the end of the ad with the clown is my fave. I love it when the baby says " I really underestimated the creepiness..."
