On the eve of Thanksgiving, after prepping all day, I had everyone go to the park for a nice long walk and while there I had everyone help me find leaves for the table. I found the beautiful branches for our arrangement there as well. So everyone participated, with a little guidance of course, and I created the look.

Here's my thanksgiving table. It's fairly simple, but I'mvery pleased with it. The hand-stencil turkey was something I made mid-day to distract myself from the smoking oven (no food was burning, the oven just decided to smoke.).

Here's my thanksgiving table - I wanted an organic look and feel so I used wood charger plates, woven leaf placemats, linen napkins and wood napkin rings along with some cute little bird condiment cups and leaf serving plates. The centerpiece was just a glass jar that I filled up with wooden pears. The stemware is an amber crackle glass.

I love this sunny vignette on my kitchen table. There's nothing like a little sunshine and some flowers to make any space beautiful!

Sex is everything. To go beyond sugarcoating the issue, wether it be in relationships, advertisement, media, and the like, sex is everything and everywhere. Wether it be part of an innuendo, a sub-context, flat out blatant in your face, or anything between, it's undeniable that sex is an integral part in not only our culture, but our everyday life.

Story from Big Government here: http://biggovernment.com/2009/11/19/obama-to-taxpayers-america-needs-more-picnic-tables/
the main thing i got from this story (besides the fact that the stimulus is crap, which we know!) is that there is a website called stimuluswatch.org where you can view and VOTE on whether you're happy with the money being spent that way. Some of the bigger wastes of course are the picnic tables.
I found it informative.

This question comes from the group The Children's Table from member chab.
Does anyone out there know of a sugar free "O" cereal? I used to get Cascadian Farms "O" cereal because it was organic and sugar free, but it seems like they changed their product as it now has sugar.

We've all been there ... sound asleep, only to wake up suddenly, terrified we've overslept and will be late for work or school. And in those first few groggy seconds, you'll really appreciate the TALK button on this nifty clock.
