Yes, "The One" Should Fail
By Quin Hillyer on 10.23.09 @ 6:08AM
We will not be intimidated, we will not be bullied, we will not be silenced, and we will not lose. Barack Obama's thugocracy is dishonest, dangerous, and malicious, but it cannot be stronger than the aroused might of a free people. His foreign policy deliberately debases U.S.

The Town Halls of August
They're here, they're conservative, get used to it.
by Mary Katharine Ham
It had been a rough month by the time 67-year-old Bert Stead of Redding, Calif., stepped to the microphone at an August 18 town hall meeting with Republican representative Wally Herger. It was about to get rougher.

An Ill Wind is Breaking For Our President
T. Coddington Van Voorhees VII
Editor at Large, the National Topsider
Another Labor Day weekend wafts into Montauk, borne as always upon a chill wind of melancholy; a breeze that ushers in blithe spirits for the coming gay lawn soirees, the final chukkers of the summer polo leagues, the annual Montauk-to-Newport gin barrel regatta. But the selfsame mistral likewise presages season's end, and the maids' ritual packing away of the pastels and seersuckers for the annual migration to the dismally gauche winter quarters of Florida.

Government Refuses Tax Day Tea Party Permit -- Fears Too Large A Citizen Gathering
The right to peaceable assembly that most Americans mistakenly believe is still written into the United States Constitution is not, apparently absolute, especially when that assembly is a protest against the government.
When the protest in question is an angry mob of protesters, organized and orchestrated by the SEIU government union, crowded into buses, and chanting slogans and death threats outside the homes of AIG executives, that is free speech guaranteed by the Constitution.
When the protest is a grassroots movement, The Tax Day Tea Party Movement, with citizens from all walks of life, from all across the country, peacefully assembling to demonstrate their opposition to government policy, the government says "No!"

We decided to get married in a cave, bat and all - just kidding!! Well, there was a cast iron bat hanging from the entrance of this spectacularly decorated wine cave in Northern California. We invited our closest friends and family and we were absolutely delighted to have the most wonderful designer/florist/renaissance man - John James of San Francisco's John James Designs - transform the cave with his design for our romantic Banquet Celebration - resplendent with the colors of Burgundy, Platinum and overflowing with Sterling Silver Roses. We married in November, so he filled the space with gorgeous roses and fall foliage .

Had received a dressing down because i had oedemas (in my legs). NO salt – over – well – yes I started… Now I know why that fairy tale in which the three daughters of the king were asked by their father: “how do you describe my love for you?” – the first said sugar – the second said like my best dress and the third answered: LIKE SALT… Only those who know how food tastes without salt – know how right the third daughter was… Well – the father was stupid – he kicked her out of the house… After years – when he tasted food without salt because they had no more salt left in the palace – he remembered how right his third daughter was and was very upset of himself… He then regretted bitterly what he said and did to her… WELL at least he knew at last – some NEVER know not even when they are dying – no – that is no longer abt salt… ;)
OK so no more salt – nettle tea and not standing nor sitting too long… For a housewife THAT IS ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM – right? Well coffee and salt – because coffee too – kept these oedemas alive – brilliant – how great!

First day out of the house after being stuck inside these four walls with nothing but studying, studying and more studying! First exam is over so I immediately accepted the invite to go out with my friend for a hot cup of tea. Unfortunately, more exams are waiting.
