PRO 1
Our government was based on religious principles from the very beginning. The 10 Commandments are the foundation of our moral government.
CON 1.1
Having religious principles does not mean that they wanted to use the government to force religion on the country.

A dollar a day keeps the babies away.
That's the incentive behind College Bound Sisters, a program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro that aims to keep 12- to 18-year-old girls in school and baby-free.
Girls in the program attend 90-minute meetings every week at which they receive lessons in abstinence and the use of contraceptives — and they receive $7 every week they do not get pregnant.

In honor of Reading Is Sexy's grand opening, I'm going to start off with the series that's has been holding me in a chockhold for going on 10 years now.
Nora Roberts, writing as JD Robb in her not so far distant future has captured my attention since my very good friend lend me a copy of the 1st of the series, Naked In Death. That copy started me on my 10 year journey of hunting and gathering mission to find and read every one of the books in the series.

FOUR out of five people would be tied to a single doctor and all patients guaranteed a GP appointment within two days under $16 billion in health reforms.
The reforms are set to be unveiled today by Prime Minister Kevin Rudd.
Elderly people could be forced to sell their homes to secure a nursing home bed and a subsidised dental care scheme introduced, as part of the biggest shake-up to health in decades.

WASHINGTON — Seventeen-year-olds will soon be allowed to buy “morning-after” contraceptive pills without a doctor’s prescription after federal drug regulators complied with a judge’s order and lowered the age limit by a year.
The decision Wednesday by the Food and Drug Administration, which overturns one of the most controversial health rulings of the Bush Administration, was scorned by anti-abortion advocates and hailed by their abortion rights counterparts. The long-running controversy involving Plan B, the emergency contraceptive, has had more of a political impact than a public health one.
