the boyfriend took me shopping on his dime the whole day yesterday for my birthday (woohoo 20!) and we bought this dress... a little short but I was feeling brave later going to dinner with friends that night so I wore it (with a tiara for my bday).
I wish I brought cream-colored shoes with me buuuut I didn't get to go home between shopping and dinner and I only had black heels.

Hello, I've seen this Zara skirt in some of your posts. I like it because it's very versatile and allows you to create different looks: from a cute preppy look to a wilder look. This look is somewhere in-between the two.

The $300,000 Mother Goose Stakes (G1) is the middle leg of the New York Triple Tiara, but this year's renewal turned out to be a public workout or a virtual walkover. Although five 3-year-old fillies originally entered this 1 1/8 mile trip around one turn of the Belmont Park main track, two scratched the day of the race, leaving a field of three. As expected, Kentucky Oaks and Preakness Stakes winner Rachel Alexandra was sent off at 1-20 odds, making her second start for new owner Stonestreet Stables and trainer Steve Asmussen.

In honor of Reading Is Sexy's grand opening, I'm going to start off with the series that's has been holding me in a chockhold for going on 10 years now.
Nora Roberts, writing as JD Robb in her not so far distant future has captured my attention since my very good friend lend me a copy of the 1st of the series, Naked In Death. That copy started me on my 10 year journey of hunting and gathering mission to find and read every one of the books in the series.
