There's no end to the amount of entertainment that Google Maps' Street View provides. I remember when it came out and I thought, cool, I can look at the outside of hotels I'm going to stay in and my house. I didn't dream of the possibilities that could be exploited by a bunch of Google cars until controversy started popping up when it caught some odd and slightly incriminating photos.

The View’s token conservative Elisabeth Hasselbeck may be leaving the show for an anchor position on right-leaning news staple Fox News. Last week we reported on a story from the National Enquirer that claimed that View co-producer and co-founder Barbara Walters was fed up with Elisabeth’s emotional outbursts on the show and told if she couldn’t cut it out she should look for another job. Elisabeth may have done just that and is said to be considering an anchor position that was offered by Fox News:
After repeated confrontations with Barbara Walters and her co-hosts on “The View,” Elisabeth Hasselbeck is plotting her exit strategy from the show.

Rosie O’Donnell was on “The Today Show” this morning promoting her new variety show, “Rosie Live,” which premieres Wednesday night at 8pm on NBC. She was inevitably asked about the rekindled feud with Barbara Walters, in which Walters said she resented O’Donnell’s recent statement that there was no camaraderie backstage and suggested that O’Donnell mentioned it for publicity. Walters didn’t refer to O’Donnell by name when she criticized her and just said it was someone who had left the show, who she called “lady” in a harsh tone.

Last month we reported that host Sherri Shepherd had drawn the ire of The View’s grande dame, Barbara Walters, and that Barbara was considering letting her go. Shepherd was involved in a minor controversy in which she said some regrettable things to a Christian woman’s magazine about how she’d had more abortions than she’d cared to count and that she’d like to see her boss Barbara “saved” by a televangelist.
Fast forward to the heated discussions on the show about the contentious US Presidential race and it’s token conservative Elisabeth Hasselbeck who’s pissing off the 78 year-old co-creator and co-producer.

So, here's a secret: I love James Carville, and I love The View. I could listen to Carville read the phone book with that gorgeous accent. And I find watching these women argue to be a guilty pleasure.

Ellen DeGeneres, Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa, as well as the women of The View are in the running for the honor as top TV host in the Daytime Emmy race, which was launched Thursday morning with an announcement on The View.
DeGeneres, of course, stars on Ellen, while Philbin and Ripa headline Live!
“Why does the industry like Ellen more than us?” plaintively asked Joy Behar, who, along with colleagues Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd saw her ABC program also nominated for best daytime entertainment show, along with the usual winner, Ellen, and The Rachael Ray Show.

Sherri Shepherd publicly apologized on air for saying in an interview with a Christian Women’s magazine that she hoped her boss, Barbara Walters, could “get saved” by a televangelist. She said in the same interview that she went through a very rough time when she was young and that she’d “had more abortions than I would like to count.” After the details of the interview were widely publicized, Shepherd clarified her remarks, saying that she was not glamorizing abortion and that she hoped to inspire women who also felt extreme guilt and shame over having an abortion. She also claimed that her quotes were taken out of context and that she was joking about wanting to have Walters saved.

There’s yet another feud brewing among the women who host ABC talkshow The View. In Touch claims to have insider information that some of the hosts on the panel are complaining about how often executive producer Barbara Walters talks about her bestselling biography, Audition. Joy Behar has a book that could really use the on-air publicity, and Sherri Shepherd has a new memoir coming out, but neither have been allowed to mention their books much and are complaining to higher-ups:
An insider tells In Touch that Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sherri Shepherd and Elisabeth Hasselbeck aren’t happy that Barbara keeps using the ABC talk show to shill her memoir Audition.

Even SNL is getting on the band wagon, making fun of how ridiculous The View has been lately.
We’re sure today and tomorrow will be equally as tense on set with the election happening tomorrow! Kristin Wiig is amazing as Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

The View ladies are hitting Las Vegas this week, and their big guest today was Rihanna. She talked about her life before fame, what it's like to have a Grammy, her tattoos, and of course, Chris Brown!
Rihanna is still denying that the two of them are a couple.
