I get a lot of questions about how I keep my locks healthy and shiny.
Easy.
And cheap.
Once a week and sometimes more (If I have more than one day off from work):
I put a dab of extra virgin olive oil in the palm of my hands, gently rub palms together and scrunch into hair (middle of hair shaft down to the ends) and comb through with a wide tooth comb. Just let the natural oil soak into your hair for the day or do this at night, wrap ends of hair and sleep away.

Since I saw some of you ladies ask, here are some recipes that I use in my homemade care. My oil staples are: Vitamin E oil (it's a natural preservative), virgin coconut oil, avocado oil, lemon oil (to fade discoloration), Evoo, peppermint oil, jojoba oil, and sweet almond oils as a carrier oil. My other staples are: Shea butter, honey, mayonnaise, coconut milk, eggs (be careful though with the eggs.What are your product staples?
