A lot of people are switching from synthetically-made prescription drugs and multivitamins to natural supplements and alternatives. The sudden shift is caused by a well-known belief that these natural health choices are indeed healthier and safer as compared to prescription drugs. True enough, the presence of chemicals on most drugs triggers dangerous negative effects when administered properly.

This may be a touchy subject because I know how many avid Vitamin Water drinkers are out there, especially in our increasingly health-conscious (but misinformed) society. However, it's time to face the facts!
Vitamin Water gives the illusion of a healthy, hydrating, and rejuvenating miracle elixir.

Always work with your doctor before taking any medication even if it is OTC (over the counter) medication to ensure that it is safe for you to take and it will not interfere with any other medications that you might be taking. Also realize that it will take on average about 5 days for your body to actually see some improvement from supplements and depending on the dosage, you might have to go through speciality stores to where they can pack more punch in a pill verses what you can get at the drug store.

Hi my darling fellow BPJs! I am thinking about adding a Vitamin C Serum to my skincare regimen...I just got an email about this new Serum from Mario Badescu.
Here is the info from the web site:

Hello, fellow BPJs!
Some of you may have seen my earlier post asking for advice about this new vitamin C serum that was being offered by Mario Badescu (http://teamsugar.com/group/88093/blog/2565570).
I ended up ordering it, and have been using it for a little over a week.

in an article about Dita von Teese, she claims that she takes vitamins which help her avoid tanning. She also mentions that certain foods accelerate tanning.
Any clue as to what these vitamins/foods might be?

When my girl Bella asked me to try out Borghese's Cura-C Vitamin C Eye Treatment ($44), I jumped at the chance. You see, I'm a bit of a product junkie; but, as my skin is hypersensitive I can't lather as many lotions on my face as I'd like to. Eye creams, however, are a totally different story.

To remove the citrus fruits’ bitter white pith for this fresh recipe, cut the peel away with a sharp knife. This recipe makes more dressing than you’ll need; you can refrigerate the extra for up to 5 days.
Prep: 18 minutes Makes 4 servings
Ingredients:
1/3 cup orange juice
1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons honey
1 medium halved peeled avocado, seeded and cut into 1/2-inch chunks
1 peeled pink grapefruit, cut into sections
1 peeled navel orange, cut into sections
1/2 red pepper, chopped
4 minced green onions
4 cups field greens
Directions:
Combine first 4 ingredients (through honey) in a food processor or blender, or use a handheld immersion blender, and process for 1 minute until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

they always show this at the movies..LOL
There's a brand new VitaminWater commercial, which features Carrie Underwood, 50 Cent, and Red Sox's very own Papi, David Ortiz.
They play astronauts who are put into a training facility to gear up for a space mission. Kinda random!
