You're not the only one making changes in '09. VOGUE has decided to trade in the Brazilian bombshells for younger, up-and-coming models, and their January 2009 issue gets off to a good start. The magazine features 19-year-old Chanel Iman and 18-year-old Jourdan Dunn in a sixteen page fashion spread.
Lara Stone Lands Vogue Paris September 2009!
I'm not even sure we know how much Carine Roitfeld truly loves Lara Stone, because (while I adore her as well) it is A LOT. Roitfeld put Lara on the cover of her biggest issue of the year, after already dedicating an entire issue to the model (February). This issue was supposed to contain a dramatic "model makeover", which Lara is a good suspect for, considering that her usually-blonde locks are a chestnut-ty brunette.

Seriously? Kate Moss on the cover of Vogue UK's September Issue is about as predictable and boring as you can get...she looks predictable and boring as well. Plus, ever since 1993, the magazine's given Kate a cover at least once a year.

Long awaited, we now get to see who and what grace the cover of another models of the moment cover for Vogue. The main cover features Natalia Vodianova, Lyia Kebede, and Anna Jagodzinska. Then on the foldout there's Isabeli Fontana, Lara Stone, Jourdan Dunn, Raquel Zimmermann, Caroline Trentini, and Natasha Poly.

London and Paris were absoloutely amazing and beautiful! I will try to post pictures maybe later today, but here are the hilights happening last week:
The issue of Vogue Paris photographed exclusively by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin was confirmed to be the August 2009 issue, and, like the February 2009 issue, featuring Lara Stone, they have worked with Daria Werbowy only. After that, the September issue is supposed to feature a "radical model makeover," with a model whose usually blonde locks are said to be black.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Sarah Palin's new book reprises familiar claims from the 2008 presidential campaign that haven't become any truer over time. Ignoring substantial parts of her record if not the facts, she depicts herself as a frugal traveler on the taxpayer's dime, a reformer without ties to powerful interests and a politician roguishly indifferent to high ambition.
Palin goes adrift, at times, on more contemporary issues, too.
