Over at The Knot, I spotted some AMAZING wedding dresses. Usually when I stalk that site, I promptly click on the trumpet or mermaid silhouette only because I felt they were the best ideas for women whom wanted to look sexy. Nowadays, I'm looking for the classic dress.

Always a bridesmaid (in fake pearls) and never a bride! As someone who has walked down the isle too many times in a gaudy taffeta dress, it is my lifelong dream to get back at all my bridezilla friends. My jewelry box is packed with faux bridesmaid trinkets they forced me to buy, and for once I wish a bride would have the good taste and manners to let me choose my own jewelry for the occasion.

Planning for the big day can be really stressful. Working women/brides-to-be have so much to think about: flowers, the ceremony, bridesmaids, the cake, the honeymoon. Planning the wedding is almost a full time job!

please title your list: "week 5 theme: Outshine the Bride" so that others will know which lists are the ones being voted on.

Modern life is hectic and if you are planning a wedding - wow talk about an exponential increase on the stress-o-meter. Here are some things for a bride-to-be, or any stressed out lady for that matter, to try to keep sane during the wedding mania.
- Breathe: Take some time out to just breathe (I think Faith Hill might have got it right).
