The Catholic Archdiocese of Washington said Wednesday that it will be unable to continue the social service programs it runs for the District if the city doesn't change a proposed same-sex marriage law, a threat that could affect tens of thousands of people the church helps with adoption, homelessness and health care.
Under the bill, headed for a D.C. Council vote next month, religious organizations would not be required to perform or make space available for same-sex weddings.

Well it looks like all of the troubles that we had the past couple of weeks had been a small blessing in disguise. Yesterday we met with the new hall again this time for a taste test and we have a great package: flowers, the wedding cake, dj, photographer, and catering are all included. And the menu package we chose has an international themed dishes, so it'll go great with our theme.

As much as you would love to fast forward to your wedding day immediately after your fiancé pops the question, weddings take time and careful consideration to plan. There are many caveats to making your day everything you always dreamt it would be, so it is imperative to create a time line leading up to your wedding day.
Whether you have hired a wedding planner or are orchestrating the big day yourself, you will need to keep track of important tasks, vendors, participants, and most importantly, deadlines.

Ashley Olsen is secretly planning her wedding to her boyfriend of seven months, actor Justin Bartha. Though it’s not clear if Bartha’s actually proposed to the pint-sized mogul, it appears that Ashley is moving forward with plans for quite the lavish, elegant, and surprisingly taco-centric wedding.
“Ashley has dreamed of having her wedding on the French Riviera, and she’s going to ask her favorite designer and friend, fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld, to create a custom-designed gown to the tune of a quarter million dollars!” a pal told THE ENQUIRER.

♥ When to order
Plan to order your cake six months in advance. If you're marrying during peak wedding season (June–October) you may have to order it even sooner, especially if you want a big-name confectioner.
♥ Do your homework
Turn to bridal magazines and visit Brides.com's Cakes Gallery to find styles and confectioners you love.

i found this interesting blog on ASKMen.com which is a very cool 1 for who wanna be like George Clooney (for men of Course lol!) A former nanny told The National Enquirer that Angelina Jolie hates George Clooney. If it’s true, she’s the only woman on earth.
George Clooney is a star in the classic sense.
