So I am newly engaged and my wedding is still over 2 1/2 years away, but I am having so much fun dreaming and pre-planning! I have this idea, but before I get too attached to it, I want to make sure that people don't think I'm nutso!
So you know how when people were first coming to America from Europe, the men would come over, build a house, get settled then send for their wives.

Words Worth a Thousand Pictures
The creative folks at Wonderful Graffiti Wedding (wonderfulgraffitiwedding.com) make it easy for you to put your feelings into words and then, surprisingly and oh-so-beautifully, put those words (or names or monograms) on a wall, a door, a votive, a limo or just about any smooth surface you can think of.
Their web site has some great ideas for personalizing your wedding from adding a famous quote to the backdrop of your ceremony site to decorating a wall at the reception with the menu. There are even ideas for personalizing your wedding favors with your monogram and signaling where the ladies’ room is with a cute insignia.

We may be smack dab in the middle of holiday season here on the Sugar Network, but I can't help but share with you this crazy-fun find to whet your palate for next year's wedding season. We already have enough geeky wedding ammo to fuel an entire ceremony, so this 8-Bit wedding invite is the icing on the cake (pun intended).
Complete with binary code speech bubbles, the vintage feel of this wedding invitation I spotted on BuzzFeed has me longing for my arcade days.

Something new, something old, something borrowed, something blue…no word on what all of Ivanka Trump’s bridal must-haves were, but we do know what the something sparkling was — thousands of dollars of diamonds from her own jewelry collection! At her Sunday wedding to Jared Kushner at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., on Sunday, she wore a platinum-diamond hairpiece to accent the veil (worth $45,000), platinum mixed-cut clustered diamond earrings (worth $130,000), and an Art Deco link platinum-diamond bracelet (worth $90,000), all in addition to her lace Vera Wang gown. Her bridesmaids were suitably encrusted as well, with assorted pieces from the Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry collection to set off their Carolina Herrera gowns.

ASAN, South Korea - Brides in white gowns and Japanese kimonos joined grooms in black suits and red ties Wednesday for the Unification Church's biggest mass wedding in a decade — a spectacle church officials say involves 40,000 people around the world.
The "blessing ceremony" is the church's largest since 1999, and may well be the last on such a grand scale officiated by the 89-year-old Rev. Sun Myung Moon, the controversial founder of the Unification Church.

Lily Bass, played by Kelly Rutherford, might have ditched the black tie wedding for a garden ceremony at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, but that doesn’t mean her Upper East Side guests were any less fashionable. Her daughter, Serena van der Woodsen, played by Blake Lively, celebrated her mother’s nuptials in an olive green J. Mendel strapless dress with beaded detail paired with muted red heels.
